What’s Possible For You In Real Estate?

A break from the daily grind of things you’re probably working on like finishing classes, taking your exam, choosing the right broker, etc.

I know all of these things are important, but pretty soon they will all be done. Then you’ll be rocking it in your new real estate business and building something to support you and your family.

I want to make you aware of some of the things that are possible within real estate. Not only are they possible, but actually encouraged and supported within Keller Williams. At KW part of our mission statement is to build businesses worth owning for the purpose of finding a life worth living… your truly perfect life.

The question is, how do you move from having a real estate job to owning a real estate business? Because let’s face it, just because you have a real estate license doesn’t mean you’re automatically going to work less and make more. In fact, you will probably be working harder than you ever have before. So how do you create that business that will afford you freedom of your time and money?

The 7th Level Real Estate Team.

In Gary Keller’s book, The Millionaire Real Estate Agent, he walks you through step by step how to go from an individual agent to owning a real estate team that essentially runs on its own. And this is what’s possible for you.

If you follow the proven models at KW, you can follow the path that others take to build a team. I meet many agents that have been working for 10+ years and are still operating as a 1-man band.

Now if that’s what your goal is and you desire to stay within a certain level of income and production, that’s totally fine. Everyone has their own definition of success and that might be exactly what you want.

But, for some… They want to build a big business.

So what is a 7th level real estate team? Well, there’s going to come a time when you are so busy as an agent that you literally can’t do any more by yourself. That’s a good problem to have!

At that point – or probably a little before that point – you can start hiring people to work for you. These assistants can handle some of the marketing, basic phone calls, and paperwork. Hiring that first person allows you to spend more time on high-dollar activities like face time with your clients.

Usually, the first two hires are admin/assistant help. Another great strategy is to hire what we call an ISA (inside sales agent) whose sole job is to get on the phones, find new clients, and set appointments for you.

Now you have a nice little team already with an admin assistant, marketing assistant, and ISA. With just a few key people on your team, you should be able to DOUBLE or TRIPLE your business. This more than pays for the salaries of the people on your team and makes more money for you as well.

What’s Next?

Once you grow your business even further, it’s usually time to hire a buyer’s agent or two. Then you can focus solely on the highly leveraged activity of listing homes.

Eventually, your last step is to hire someone to replace yourself. At this point, you are no longer working IN your business, but ON your business. If you set this upright and train your people correctly then you can create a business that essentially runs by itself.

This is what we call building a 7th level real estate team and this is what’s possible for you.

And guess what?

Even if you’ve never hired someone or had any employees working for you, it’s ok. We have a class for that.

I realize this might sound confusing or like it’s all just way off in the distant future, especially since most people in your position are just concentrated on passing the exam. But I just wanted to give you some inspiration and a small glimpse of what’s possible and available to you. You can become the next Millionaire Real Estate Agent.

Because, after all, at Keller Williams we want you to live a BIG life. Don’t you want that for yourself too?
